Deshon Leos Successfully Won 3rd Place in the 2022 Balinese Japanese Language Presentation Competition
Student of the 22nd batch of Japanese Literature Bachelor Program at Udayana University, Deshon Leos succeeded in winning 3rd place in the Bali level Japanese Language Presentation Competition organized by Mahasaraswati University Denpasar and The Japan Foundation Jakarta. The competition with the theme "Indonesian Education in the Future" was held on Saturday, December 17 2022 in the Widya Karya Room, Rectorate 1st floor, Mahasaraswati University Denpasar. In this competition, Deshon managed to win 3rd place after trying to beat his competitors from universities throughout Bali.
“If I'm not mistaken, my preparation took 2 weeks. I'm nervous yes, because this is my first competition for presentations and being witnessed live in front of people," said Deshon. Furthermore, during the training process, Deshon also admitted that he was guided directly by his supervisor, namely Dr. Ida Ayu Laksmita Sari, S.Hum., M.Hum.
Even though he had gone through the training process, he still felt there were obstacles, namely his lack of maturity in finding a more interesting theme.
The impression of the message he conveyed was that Deshon hoped that if he was given the opportunity to take part in the competition again, he would try to take part in it again, because he felt that the competition was fun and could be a very good experience for him in future presentation competitions.
Once again, congratulations to Deshon Leos on the win! (sd)
