BERITA ACARA MBKM DI DINAS KEBUDAYAAN KOTA DENPASAR
On Monday, September 4, 2023, until December 15, 2023, I, Gina Fitroti Insani, with Student ID 2001581037, undertook an independent internship program at the Dinas kebudayaan kota Denpasar. This internship aimed to provide practical insights into cultural governance and the development of cultural arts activities at the local level.
This internship was an integral part of my academic program in the field of culture. I was placed within the Dinas kebudayaan kota Denpasar, an institution playing a crucial role in preserving and developing local culture. Throughout the internship period, I had the opportunity to work in various divisions, including the Traditional Arts and Culture Division, as well as the Promotion and Event Development Division.
The program brought significant benefits to the development of my practical skills. I learned how to plan cultural events, promote activities, and collaborate within a team focused on cultural preservation. Gaining firsthand insights allowed me to connect the theories learned in the classroom with day-to-day practices.
Engaging in diverse activities during the internship, such as planning and executing traditional cultural events, participating in artistic workshops, and promoting cultural activities through social media, broadened my understanding of the cultural richness held by Denpasar City. Interacting with local artists and cultural communities further enriched this experience.
Throughout the internship, I faced challenges head-on, creatively solving problems. Involvement in organizing art exhibitions, coordinating cultural performances, and contributing to the preservation of local traditions not only enriched my practical knowledge but also honed my managerial and leadership skills.
The internship left a profound impression on me. I appreciated the dedication and enthusiasm of the team at Dinas kebudayaan kota Denpasar in preserving and developing local culture. Their openness to new ideas and exploration of the potential of local artists served as an exemplary value.
The key takeaway from this internship is the importance of synergy between the government and the community in preserving culture. Feeling inspired, I am motivated to continue contributing to the preservation of cultural heritage, whether through collaboration with the government or direct involvement with the community.
In conclusion, I believe that the internship at Dinas kebudayaan kota Denpasar not only integral to my academic development but also opened new windows to a deeper understanding of the role of culture in enriching and strengthening the identity of a region. I extend my gratitude to Dinas kebudayaan kota Denpasar for this valuable experience and hope to continue contributing to the preservation and development of culture in the future. May the continuity of internship programs like this bring broader benefits to students and society as a whole.
