I Made Teguh Mahendra, 1st Place in the 4th Sakura Cup Speech Contest
I Made Teguh Mahendra, Bachelor of Japanese Literature student class 22, Udayana University has made the name of Bachelor of Japanese Literature proud with his achievement of winning 1st place in the 4th Sakura Cup Japanese Speech Competition which was held on February 26 2023.
The 4th Sakura Cup Japanese Speech Competition was organized by the Japanese Consulate General in Denpasar. The aim of holding this speech competition is to provide an opportunity for students studying Japanese language and culture to present the results of their learning through a speech competition, so that they can contribute to increasing student motivation and strengthening friendship between Japan and Indonesia.
Teguh prepared himself to take part in the speech competition for two weeks until the day of the competition. There were no obstacles he experienced during the training process until the day of the competition, because Teguh was already used to participating in speech competitions. Because of this, none of them experienced tension, nervousness or other obstacles.
Teguh practiced with Sensei from the Japanese Literature Study Program, namely Anita Sensei as a companion and also Deshon Leos as a fellow participant in the speech competition and also helped each other.
