Indenpendent Study Digital Field of Export Fashion at LaCorre

My name is Kadek Ima Damayanti. I am a fifth semester student at Udayana University. I am currently participating in the Kampus Merdeka Program batch 5 in 2023. The program I am participating in is an Independent Study in the digital field of fashion export at PT. LaCorre Loka Maya which aims to acquire specialized knowledge and skills in the field of fashion export with an emphasis on utilizing digital technology.

The most important outcome highlighted in the first semester was gaining in-depth knowledge on how to start and grow a business especially in the field of product re-branding. I learned how to build a brand and project a positive image to the public through digital marketing. I also learned how to create catalogs, put products into e-commerce, and other basic things needed to run a business. On the other hand, my biggest achievement was being able to gain export insights from various sources. 

For me, some of the most memorable projects during this semester included writing articles to support branding and packaging, TEI-related assignments, product development, and business matching. I believe embarking on export learning specifically in fashion is a worthy step and can bring many benefits in the future. I am grateful for this opportunity and hope to make a positive contribution in generating enthusiasm and interest in understanding and participating in the world of exports.
