Independent Study of Sustainable Startup Related to Climate Change at PT Amati Karya Indonesia
My name is Ni Luh Sekar Ayu Angelina Susanti, a fifth-semester student at Udayana University. I had the extraordinary opportunity to participate in the Independent Study Program at PT Amati Karya Indonesia, as part of the Sustainable Startup initiative. Throughout my involvement in the program, I engaged in a series of activities designed to stimulate a deep understanding and development of skills related to sustainability and business innovation. I attended various training sessions and workshops organized by industry experts and sustainability practitioners, discussing aspects of sustainability concepts, sustainable business strategies, and relevant innovation techniques. Additionally, participants benefited from guidance and mentoring by experienced professionals who guided us in designing and implementing sustainable business models. The main focus was on the development of startup projects, where participants designed innovative solutions that not only met market needs but also had a positive impact on society and the environment.
Through presentation sessions and feedback, participants had the opportunity to communicate effectively and respond to constructive criticism from panels and relevant audiences. The program also encouraged networking and partnerships with investors, potential business partners, and other stakeholders, creating opportunities for business growth and sustainability. As part of the sustainability commitment, participants were also involved in social responsibility activities, such as participating in local community initiatives or other sustainable projects. The program involved periodic evaluations to track participants' progress, providing opportunities to evaluate and improve their business strategies and sustainability impact. Overall, the Sustainable Startup Program not only provided in-depth knowledge of sustainability but also offered a concrete platform to apply these concepts in the development of startups that would positively impact the future.

In this journey, I not only gained a deeper understanding of sustainability concepts but also successfully built a strong network with fellow participants and other stakeholders. The sharing of knowledge and experiences through presentation sessions and discussions enriched my insights, while mentorship provided invaluable guidance in detailing my sustainable business vision. Now, I feel more prepared and motivated to take further steps in implementing the ideas and strategies I developed during this program. I am confident that positive contributions to climate change and society can be realized through the concrete steps I take in developing a sustainable business.
