Independent Study UIUX Designer at MyEduSolve

My name is Ni Made Ita Kusuma Putri, a 5th semester student majoring in Japanese Literature at Udayana University. This semester, I have the opportunity to join the 5th batch of Independent Internship program which is part of the independent campus program. I want to learn how to design a digital product that can provide a good user experience. Therefore, I decided to take part in the UIUX Designer Independent Study activity organized by MyEduSolve.

This UIUX Designer Independent Study activity lasts for 5 months, starting from August to December 2023. This activity includes basic UIUX materials, such as Adobe Illustrator, Figma Design Tool, Intuit Design for Delight Innovator (Design Thinking), UX Research, Capstone Project and Career Guidance. In addition, participants will also take the Adobe Illustrator and Intuit Design for Delight Innovator certification exams.

The benefits that I get from this activity, can learn UIUX materials in depth and international certificates. The learning delivered by the mentor is very complete and relevant to industry needs. I can also practice the material that has been learned through the assignments and projects.

My final project was to redesign the Echosphere website. My role in this project was as a project leader and redesigned the website to make it more user-friendly and responsive. I worked with the team to create wireframes, prototypes, and final designs. I feel very happy to be working on this project. I was able to apply what I had learned and how to work with a team. I also got valuable feedback from my mentor and client.

This UIUX designer has been very rewarding for me. I feel more prepared to enter the workforce as a UIUX Designer. I also gained a lot of valuable experience that I can apply in the future.

The conclusion is that UIUX Designer Independent Study is a very useful activity for students who want to learn graphic design, especially UIUX. This activity can provide valuable knowledge and experience for participants to enter the world of work.
