Japanese Culture Workshop Yukata and Chanoyu
Japan has a very unique culture and has become an attraction for major countries. From 1950 to present Japan has emerged as one of the most economically and technologically advanced societies in the world. Even though Japan is now a modern country, its traditional side is still strongly attached and recognized globally.
One of them is Yukata and Chanoyu which have been featured in the Japanese Culture Workshop, Yukata and Chanoyu held by DJaFu 10th, The Japan Festival Of Udayana 10th on Friday, November 26, 2021. The purpose of this workshop is to inform webminar participants the uniqueness of Yukata and Chanoyu, how to wear Yukata, the history of Yukata and Chanoyu, how to present Chanoyu and many other things that can be learned through this workshop.
Yukata, clothes after bathing is a type of informal kimono that can be worn by men or women on casual occasions in their spare time, while Chanoyu is a Japanese style tea ceremony where this traditional ritual is focused on serving tea to guests.
Whatever the sequence of events in the Japanese Culture Workshop, Yukata and Chanoyu on last Friday was the opening of the workshop conducted by MC DJafu 10th Nadea, opening and remarks by the Koprodi Japanese Literature Ngurah Indra Pradana ,S.S.,M.Hum. , introduction workshop moderator Gitsali Hanum, introduction of the workshop resource persons, then the event continued with the presentation of the Yukata workshop material by Ms. Michella and continued with the presentation of Chanoyu material by Yokosan as well as an additional demonstration from Yokosan regarding the Chanoyu ceremony, for the next session filled with quizzes exclaimed Yukata and Chanoyu which was filled by Mirah DJaFu 10th, then for the last session was the closing and handing over of certificates for the Yukata and Chanoyu workshop.
