On Monday, September 4, 2023, until December 15, 2023, I Sherina Nilam Maulina from the Japanese literature study program with NIM 2001581040 class of 2020, have participated in an independent internship program held by the Ministry of Education and Culture at BTPN Syariah and placed in the Blitar area, East Java. Internships at BTPN UMKM can provide valuable experience in understanding the world of banking and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
This internship is named the BESTEE program. The BESTEE (Berdaya Bersama Sahabat Tepat Indonesia) program is a partnership program between the University and BTPN Syariah which invites students to provide direct assistance to mothers of MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) actors in increasing the capacity of business knowledge and skills.
This internship program provided significant benefits for my practical skills development. Working at Bank BTPN Syariah provides an opportunity to be directly involved in supporting the MSME sector, contributing positively to economic growth. In addition, I was able to expand my knowledge in banking, build a professional network, and play a role in providing financial solutions for MSME players.
During my internship, I was involved in various activities such as providing guidance and mentoring to MSME players in terms of business management, marketing, and financial management, conducting trainings and workshops to improve the skills of the MSME players, and providing assistance to the MSME players.
