MBKM: Independent Study at PT Jobhun Membangun Indonesia

MBKM (Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka) is an innovation created by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology and launched a policy to transform the higher education system in Indonesia to produce more relevant graduates. MBKM has a variety of programs that can help students explore new skills and experiences in fields different from their education.

In this journey, I am–Shela Febry Shima as a Japanese Literature student chose to joined one of MBKM's programs entitled Independent Study. I chose one of the programs provided by PT Jobhun Membangun Indonesia that named UX Writer Camp. For 6 months straight, I have learned deeper about UX Writing and made some friendship while undergoing this activity.

UX Writing teaches a lot about how to write well and effectively so that it can satisfy users when downloading and using an application. Teamwork is also a must when we are becoming an UX Writer, because the job involves many parties to create one cohesive thought.

During the activity, my communication, problem-solving, and public speaking skills improved. Solid teamwork yielded perfect results. My friends and I in group 3 UX Writer were chosen as the best Capstone Project!

Learning new things is fun, I hope you are also interested in trying new things from this entire MBKM program!
