MBKM Wirausaha Merdeka Program
My name is Anak Agung Istri Ratih Dharma Pramesthi. I am a fourth year student at Udayana University. At the end of sixth semester , I registered for the Wirausaha Merdeka program. This program is one part of the Ministry of Education's Kampus Merdeka program which provides opportunities for students to learn and develop themselves into future entrepreneurs through activities outside the lecture class. Through this program, I can also develop knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship that can hone entrepreneurial skills, encourage increased entrepreneurial experience and increase student employability.
The Wirausaha Merdeka Program starts from the Pre Immersion stage. At this stage, my fellow participants and I were given material through online classes on basic entrepreneurial skills and leadership skills. Here we can improve our mindset and validate our business ideas with mentors, practitioners, and entrepreneurship lecturers. Next is the Immersion stage. At this stage, I was able to see firsthand the real business process with internships at MSMEs. With this, participants are expected to improve their ability to develop business models and prototypes. During the Immersion stage, we were divided into several groups to undergo internship activities in different places. One of them was Kaori Group, where I spent 20 days to see first-hand how an MSME business runs. During my internship, I met cooperative friends and gained a lot of new knowledge about how to market business products. The final stage was Post Immersion, where my friends and I applied what we had learned and started designing business ideas with our respective groups. It is hoped that after this, participants can run their own business as planned. Products from each group were then exhibited and assessed by a team of examiners on the expo day of the Wirausaha Merdeka program which took place at Udayana Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Bali.
My impression during participating in the Wirausaha Merdeka program is that I got a lot of knowledge that of course cannot be obtained in class. Starting from how to read market needs and business opportunities, to communication skills when explaining products to customers. I am very happy to be able to participate in this activity and gain a lot of positive feedbacks
