Monitoring and Evaluation of Timely Study Period for Class 2012-2019 Students

As an appeal to students to graduate on time, the Japanese Literature Study Program carries out Monitoring and Evaluation or Monev regarding Graduates on Time on February 24, 2022 virtually through the Cisco Webex application.

This Monev was attended by lecturers of the Japanese Literature Study Program along with students from the class of 2012 to 2019.

The event was opened with the direction of the Head of the Japanese Literature Study Program, I Made Budiana, S.S., M.Hum. He appealed to all students of the 2012-2019 class to complete their responsibilities both in making proposals and theses this year. In addition, he also advised the lecturers to start contacting and reminding students of his guidance.

Followed by a question and answer session proposed by lecturers and students. Some of the questions related to the supervisory lecturer's obstacles in dealing with his students. Students who are not present for guidance or cannot be contacted will be followed up immediately.

Other students also asked about their ability to work on their thesis, the requirements for submitting a thesis according to academic guidelines, and the obstacles faced by students.

To answer these questions, Japanese Literature Study Program lecturers also shared information related to the questions asked. One of the graduation requirements requires students to have a Japanese language certificate. Last year, students were required to have a Japanese language certificate with an unlimited level. However, new policies must be discussed by the Head of Study Program, I Made Budiana, S.S., M.Hum. with the team.

Because of the urgency of the graduation call to be implemented immediately, then in the next session students need to fill out a statement stating their ability to be responsible for carrying out their obligations in making proposals and theses.

As the closing session, the lecturers gave encouragement and messages to their students. One of them is from Silvia Damayanti., S.S., M. Hum. Who advised that for students, especially those under his guidance, to immediately complete the thesis proposal and thesis, and were asked to contact the lecturer often for guidance. (ep)
