Pandemic under control, Benkyoukai 2022 Held Offline
A total of 90 new students of the Japanese Literature Study Program took part in the 2022 Benkyoukai activity. This activity was carried out fully offline because the Covid-19 pandemic began to subside.
Benkyoukai 2022 is held for three days, namely Pre-test on August 19, 2022, H1 on August 26, 2022 and H2 on August 27, 2022. In this Benkyoukai activity, new students are given guidance and briefing to carry out lectures, namely by studying hiragana , katakana, and other information that will be needed during lectures.
In order to make it easier for teachers in learning incentives, new students are qualified based on hiragana and katakana abilities as many as 6 groups, namely Shiratorizawa class, Fukurodani class, Nekoma class, Datekou class, Inarizaki class, and Karasuno class.
After carrying out the pre-test, it was continued with the implementation of the first day of Benkyoukai 2022 with the first learning, namely Aisatsu and jikoshoukai, Japanese conversation in class, hiragana with materials ranging from letters and their kakijuns, history, functions, funfacts, Daku-on, Handaku- on, You-on, Soku-on, and Chou-on. On the sidelines of learning, activities are interspersed with the provision of ice breaking and games. The activity ended with giving quizzes, information about assignments, information about the activities of the second day, as well as an explanation of the penpal project that each student had to write about the things they liked and words of motivation for the recipients of the letter on the second day.
Continuing the first day, the second day was carried out by learning Katakana with almost the same material as learning hiragana. In addition, there is the collection and exchange of penpal projects.
After carrying out a series of lessons on the first and second day, the activity continued with the introduction of HMPS and the club, impressions and messages from the chairman of the Benkyoukai 2022 committee, remarks from the chairman of HMPS, Information regarding HMPS merchandise, D'JaFU sharing, selection of korti class of 2022, and the introduction of the Benkyoukai 2022 committee held at the Widya Sabha Mandala Auditorium. Finally, the activity was closed with a closing session.
Benkyoukai 2022 brings interactive, informative, friendly, and fun activities for new students and the organizing committee. Therefore, all forms of violence and intimidation against new students are not permitted. That way, this Benkyoukai activity also builds a good impression and relationship for all students involved.
