State University of Semarang STUDENT VISITS TO THE FACULTY OF LETTERS UNUD

Saturday, January 30, 2013, Japanese Literature at Udayana University had guests from Semarang. They are friends of students majoring in Japanese Literature, State University of Semarang. They come to Bali in order to study field work or KKL. This visit took place at the Widya Saba Auditorium, Faculty of Udayana from 09.00 WITA to 12.00 WITA. With this visit, it is hoped that we can establish good relations between the two universities and at the same time share in Japanese matters.

The activities that took place during this visit began with a traditional Balinese dance performed by a Japanese Literature student at Udayana University. Next was a speech by each head of the Department of Student Association, followed by remarks by each head of the department. Before entering the presentation session, there were a few traditional dances danced by students of Japanese Literature, State University of Semarang. The two departments alternately presented their respective universities, departments, and activities. The next session was a question and answer session, then the presentation of souvenirs from each department. Before this activity ended, there was one more session for each, namely a group photo session.

This activity provides a new experience for each department. In addition, it provides an opportunity to get to know each other from other Japanese Literature majors from different islands. This opportunity is also an input for us so that we can develop further.
