Teaching Campus Batch 8 - SD Negeri 13 Dauh Puri

My name is Desak Putu Saskia Putri Maheswari, a third-year student at Udayana University. I joined the 8th batch of the Kampus Mengajar Program, an initiative under the Merdeka Belajar policy by Kemendikbudristek, to gain practical experience and contribute to education quality improvement in schools needing attention. Assigned to SD Negeri 13 Dauh Puri, my team and I collaborated to create a structured Action Collaboration Plan (RAK), consisting of 17 work programs such as Literacy Coach, Reading Corner, Numeracy Steps, Environmental Preservation, and Anti-Bullying Counseling. These programs aimed to address school-specific needs like library and UKS management, promoting nutritious food, and setting up reading corners. Through observations, planning, and discussions with the principal, teachers, and stakeholders, we ensured the programs were tailored to the school's requirements.

During the implementation, we faced challenges like managing student behaviors, team dynamics, and maintaining patience in a dynamic environment. Despite these hurdles, we successfully executed the programs with the school's support, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills. Key learnings included understanding the importance of school-specific solutions, stakeholder engagement, and regular evaluations for impactful and sustainable improvements. SD Negeri 13 Dauh Puri's warm reception and active participation greatly enhanced the program's success, highlighting the value of collaboration in achieving educational development.
