The Excitement of Japan Feast & Fair 2022

The Japan Feast & Fair (JFF) has been held by Japanese Department students. This activity took place from 24 to 26 June. Located in the Renon area, this year JFF carries the Furyuuinji theme with a sub-theme, The Eye of Flower Field.

The purpose of this activity is to hone creativity and develop the talents of Japanese Department students. During the JFF event, the event venue was decorated as attractively as possible following the theme that was carried out.

For 3 days in a row, there were several performers that were presented, both from Japanese Department students and band performances from outside of it. On the first day, it was opened with a performance from the Ayame Yosakoi Group, Udayana University, followed by a K-Pop Dance performance and closed with a solo performance by Agung Shota who is an Alumni of Udayana Japanese Literature. By performing his song Monogatari, Solo Agung Shota's performance was enthusiastically welcomed by the guests who sang along.

Not inferior to the first day, on the second day the performances were filled by Japanese Literature students who demonstrated their singing skills. With a total of 3 musical performances by Japanese Literature students, again enlivening the second night of the Japan Feast & Fair 2022 event.

On the third day, on June 26, there was a slight problem because it suddenly rained. This is because the venue for the Japan Feast & Fair this time has an outdoor area which is very vulnerable in case of rain. But luckily the rain was not too heavy and lasted a long time so the event could run again.

The enthusiasm of the guests who remained at the location really made the enthusiasm of the organizers even more burning for the success of this activity. Performances from the Acoustic Group Dyanta and friend as well as a vocal duet by Erna and friend and closed by the appearance of Solo Agung Shota enlivened the last day of the Japan Feast & Fair 2022 event.

In addition to the performances of the performers, there are also several booths such as a shodo stand and also an art & craft stand, all of which are handcrafted by Japanese Department students.

As a representative of the entire Japan Feast & Fair 2022 committee, I would like to thank all parties who have been involved in this event. See you again next year! (em)
